Georgian interior minister meets Azerbaijani president

Georgian Interior Minister Alexander Chikaidze met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today, Trend reports.Aliyev reminded about his recent visit to Georgia and noted the importance of strengthening strategic cooperation between the two states. The president and the minister exchanged opinions about development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, emphasizing on contacts of their Interior Ministries.

Azerbaijan and Georgia will delimit 180km of their border, said Garib Mamedov, Head of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Land and Cartography, Georgia Online reports.He noted that Azerbaijani specialists had visited Georgia twice and chose the territories the borderline will run through.Georgia borders with seven Azerbaijani districts. Their border line is 480km long. The sides have delimited 300km of their border.
